Gilt cast bronze with enchasing and guilloché; steel; enamel; glass. Anchor escapement with chimes on the quarter hour.

Guilloché was often employed on metal clock cases and especially on Empire and later Biedermeier clock dials – a special machine was used to make parallel engraved waving lines.
